Rally against mandatory pension system

On April 12 in Yerevan in front of Matenadaran many gathered to protest against mandatory pension system.

The organizers and members of ’’Dem em’’ (I’m against) movement again proclaimed and assured protesters that they will go till the end. Even though the Constitutional Court decided that pension system won’t be mandatory, government and National Assembly still are looking ways around it.

The Constitutional Court initiative and a Parliament member ArtshvikMinasyannoted that the National Assembly will be invited to a special session to discuss the issue of mandatory money charging until September 30. “If all the collected money will be returned till September 30 then I see no logic in charging money till the end of September,” he said.
